7 Products I’m Currently Loving for Summer, High Heat and Humidity

I have been on the hunt to find products that stay in place during these super hot and humid summer months. I have FINALLY found some things that I am in love with! I had to share them with you.

SUNSCREEN/MOISTURIZER 

Of course, sunscreen at all times of the year is a must. Kiehl’s Since 1851 Ultra Facial Cream SPF 30. This is my favorite sunscreen and moisturizer combo. I use it all year round.

FOUNDATION 

The main product that I was having trouble with was the foundation. Everything I normally use and love in the winter was just not working for the summer. They wouldn’t even last half the day and my face just looked extra….dewy? Yeah, not the beautiful dewy we all know and love. I honestly looked like a grease ball. Yuck! The foundation I have finally found is Dior BACKSTAGE Face & Body. I use the shade 2.5 Neutral. It stays in place and it’s matte, but not too matte. It’s honestly perfect. It even lasted through an outdoor event where the humidity was at 60% and the temp was about 97 degrees Fahrenheit. I was impressed. 10/10!

The rest of the products are amazing for a quick and minimal makeup look for summer. You still look put together but fresh. 

CREAM BLUSH/BRONZER

Of course you know I have to say cream blush and bronzer. These you can definitely get away with using drugstore brands. The only difference I normally find is that they aren’t as pigmented and possibly harder to blend. The two that I use on a daily basis are Tarte Sugar Rush in Beaches and Cream and NYX Born to Glow Under Eye Concealer. I do realize this is a concealer but I like to use it as a cream bronzer.

BROWS

Brows are huge. They truly make your face. It’s incredible what a change it makes when you do your brows. I am loving these 2 products for my everyday brow. Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Styling Wax. Sometimes I skip the pencil and just use the wax. 

LIPS

Lastly, this was a splurge for me, but I am loving it so much! The Dior Lip Glow Oil in the shade mahogany. I can’t say what it will do for my lips in the long run but keeping them moisturized is key to keeping them youthful. Don’t forget about those babies!
